On the bright side - Aaron Thompson at Harrisburg - 6IP, 0H, 6BB, 6K

a walk per inning in AA? at least he's throwing a no hitter

AdamKilgoreWP Including tonight, the #Nats have 37 unearned runs in their past 40 games. Time for another team meeting?

Probably not going to happen with Nyjer's bobblehead night on July 31. freaking Rizzo and Kasten are obsessed with Nyjer and his aura. They don't want to waste the bobblehead money or piss off Nats320 and the African Queen and the rest of the farside characters behind the dugout that suck up to Kasten and Tony Plush in exchange for special treatment.

I think Rizzo gets it... I won't lump him in with Kasten/Lerners just yet.

Riggleman needs to go with Guzman at SS leading off, Bernie at CF batting 2nd and Morse in Right batting 6th tomorrow (assuming Pudge is off).

It won't happen.  He's too committed to Morgan.  He's less committed to Desmond, though.

The only thing I've been looking forward to for weeks is to watch Strasburg pitch. And now they've managed to freak that up as well.   :hang:

freaking do something!

He'll look like someone ran over his dog, that much I know.

I'd love to see Ray manage the team. He'd flip some crap on people... that's for sure.

Unfortunately, he's the guy who wanted Nyger and put all the emphasis on attitude and hustle over actual ability. GMs hate to admit when their pet projects don't work out.

The sad thing is that Morgan always makes those terrible throws.

Nyjer brought all that last year plus ability, what's happened to him?

ESPN just showed a great replay of SS face reaction(hard lip bite) when Desmond made the error.

It looked like we were going to imitate the Rays with Zimm playing the role of Longoria after that throw to third that allowed the runners to advance.

Send Nyger down and put his bobblehead in centerfield.
