nothing like giving up runs in the 9th as a way of keeping your team in the game.

Good point but there's still no excuse for Ayala just rolling over and blowing the game.  It doesn't seem like a big run at the time because you are losing but when you score a run in the next inning that would have tied the game it proves to be a huge mistake.

But had that run not scored against Ayala, you can't assume that the same thing would have happened the next half inning when we got the run. It's just like when someone gets picked off, you can't assume that if a hit comes afterward, the same hit would have happened had that guy stayed on base. I know this stuff is obvious and basic knowledge, but it's good to remember. :D

Whoa!  A Marlin finally realized the ball doesn't rebound of that lit wall in right-center.

Pitiful Ryan.  What an absolute god-awful series. He's trying too hard to go to the opposite field.

Zimmerman is worthless this year.  Move him down in the order, Manny.

I know it's bass ackwards, but I think he should focus on pulling the ball and being a power hitter. He's got the eye for it. Hit the ball the opposite way when you have to, but don't focus on it.

Looks like Lo Duca will get to prove that he meant what he said earlier today about stepping up the team's game.
