I went to make a sandwich - who messed up for the Marlins?  Hermida?

He and Ross.

Can someone please tell me why Manny refuses to pinch hit Flores?  He is easily the best hitter on the bench.

He and Ross.

Did they stare at a ball that didn't rebound of the right-center wall again?

I just knew Ayala's freak up would cost us. Rauch did the exact same thing on Monday. Our normally reliable relievers have been killing us.

Damn. Unlucky there. Guzman seriously is our best hitter, though.

Are you freaking kidding me... This is so Nats-like. Give up a run or two here so when our offense finally does score a run we lose by 1.
I knew it..

Nope, easy pop fly that neither one called. It went in between 'em. Same thing that almost happened earlier.

lead-off single.  It's like our relievers just mail it unless we have a lead.  They need to pitch like the game is tied or like we are up by 1.

Ramirez is a beast. Where do these guys come from and why don't we have one?

they just dont know how to get thru an inning. its like we dont know how to pitch to their hitters. we let the leadoff man on and things gets worse from there. that 3rd run in the top of the 8th is now the winning run.

Hanley is good but not this good.  We really have not pitched to him well all series.

leadoff runner on again in the 9th.  Not a very good strategy.

do any of our scouts or coaches know how to pitch to anyone? are we prepared before a series?

The reality here is, though, that WE'VE ONLY GIVEN UP 3 RUNS. This is ALL on our offense at this point. We need to expect to be scored on 3-4 times every game. We also should expect to score more than that.

and when we have a lead, we lose anyway.

Good point but there's still no excuse for Ayala just rolling over and blowing the game.  It doesn't seem like a big run at the time because you are losing but when you score a run in the next inning that would have tied the game it proves to be a huge mistake.

Ramirez wasn't running well there.  Hope he didn't twist or pull something.
