Denver has outscored GS 21-1 in the 2nd quarter.  :shock:

Hendrickson = Tom Glavine

6 IP 3 H 1 R 1 ER; Disgusting

And PC is at 69 after six?  I missed all of the first 4 innings, and was surprised to see him in the game when I got home.  This is a career day for him.

I was pretty close when I predicted that Hendrickson would pitch a CG shutout.

And now he gets a base hit. Saul is so hit or miss. Some days he's unhittable and some days he gets lit up.

Coming into tonight, Ramirez has been Kd at a higher rate than even Uggla.

All breaking balls to Dan except for one fastball out of the zone. Good job.

nice K on the outside corner. Do or die inning here with the 3-4-5 hitters due up. If they don't score that's game.

Haha. I've never actually seen you say something positive about the Marlins. Are you sure you're a fan? :lol:

Uggla has been in a slump since Aug 30, 2006.  He's due to break out of it any year now.

Zimmerman should not be hitting third.  He has been the worst hitter in the lineup.

A Nats board is no place for me to promote the Marlins, so instead I poke fun where I can.

I've got my favs - Jacobs for one.  When I got back home, I saw where you said he can't hit lefties.  That used to be the case.  Last year, since the Marlins wouldn't spring for one, he hired his own lefty BP coach.  As a result, he hits lefties very well now - last year he finished up hitting lefties even harder than righties.

They also have a great pitching coach in Mark Wilely.

But, Presley is still hitting coach, and that's why Marlins make no adjustments and K so often.  Then there is Fredi (aka Tweedle Dee the Wonder Dummy).

Kearns + Zim are doing all they can to ensure we lose our major league leading 7th in a row.

My patience with him is running out quickly. He was hitting everything the first few games of the season and now he is back to hitting little weak grounders like he did much of last season.

Kearns has been a MAJOR disappoint so far this year.  I was expecting a lot more from him.
