He hit .296 with us last season. I am willingly to give him a chance.

in what a whole 37 games? he finished the year with a .253 average, and he can only hit fastballs and stuff high on the plate like metssuck said.

Interesting fact from Debbie but poorly delivered.

Yeah, I lose interest as soon as she starts speaking.

It's the threat that we're missing, not the average. Plus, he did show signs of getting better. That was obvious if you saw him play in Boston.

Weak. You can't expect Perez to shut them down all game. No excuse for the offense to get owned like this.

Sounds like an awesome game from Balester!

Man, I come back from dinner and it's just 1-0 after five? That's not a pitching duel ... that's two offenses trying to out-suck each other.

Nice. 2 or 3 more of those and I'll be totally convinced. His consistency was his only issue, from what I heard.

Haha.. Bob was just insinuating that Hanley's #2 will be retired one day IF he stays with the Fish.

He's a tough dude to pitch to. One of the toughest, IMO.

Another poor pitch.  With Uggla down 0-2 you have to get the strikeout.

Yeah, you can't blame this on OP at this point. He's pitched well enough...and then some.

We seem to play as well as Zimmerman does. Have you noticed that?

It's not just him. Kearns and Lopez are doing nothing. Milledge is very inconsistent.

Oh, I know. I just meant it's kind of odd how we usually win when Zimmerman does something offensively. And vice versa.
