Milledge still lacks sound baseball instincts.

I dunno man, I can't hang all of that on Milledge, you don't see a pitcher do that very often.

normally they check the runner, then throw.

that was a thorough fleecing by Maddux.

missed opportunity. Damnit, we are going to need more runs with Redding and our shaky BP.

Redding is definitely gonna get PH for this inning... he's the second batter up, and he's already thrown 96 pitches through 6 innings.

And he escapes another inning. Serviceable start from TVR. Not great, not horrible.

I thought he had given up 19 runs from the way you were talking.

He wasn't good by any means. Just merely serviceable against an offense in a huge slump.

He gave up far too many hits in pitcher counts (0-2, 1-2). The only thing that saved him is that the 3 HRs were all Solo Shots.

Not sure why Manny let Redding hit for himself there. He does draw a walk though. I'd pinch run for Redding.

I think you just don't like him because he's not 24 or younger and because we suck. He's not a bad pitcher. He's definitely not as terrible as you make him out to be.

He is what he is. He has a 4.54 ERA. 6 IP 3 ER = 4.50 ERA. I just think we can do better than that, at least in the future.

either way, he wasn't good tonight.

he was barely serviceable, and if not for the dodgers playing like crap today, he'd have gotten mauled.

but as it is, there was more than enough vindication to go around.

Horrible AB by Willie. Why swing at the first pitch thrown by a guy no one here has ever seen before?

Manny's leash with Redding better be ultra-short if he decides to chance fate and leave him in.

Good call, Manny.

Hope Manning can actually get out the lefty for a change.

Jesus, you can't walk Pierre, let the guy hit the ball if you have to.

pitiful. Walks Pierre to start the inning. Situational lefties are worthless.
