I think they'd send JP Ramirez down before Perez...Perez has a higher cieling than anyone in the outfield other than Hood so I think he'll stick.

Yeah but on the same page he is the youngest of the group and hasn't played above GCL until this year.  That means he still probably hasn't learned the language and he has never played on a team that lives with a host family and has travel games so far away (DSL travels only around the Dominican and GCL only around a small area of Florida).  That is a lot of external stress to put on a kid that young and I wouldn't be surprised if it started manifesting itself in his game.

We will see what happens, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see BOTH Ramirez and Perez sent to short season if they struggle.
