The more things change, the more they stay the same. The 1st inning was enough for. Runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs and our 4/5 hitters coming up......pop up, weak groundout. I've seen this movie before.

The starter was fine, only 2 runs given up, good job DPM. Where was the offense (rest of the posters)

The offense is going to be a problem all year. I don't know why people thought that Werth was going to fix the offense by himself.

We played well defensively and pitched a gem...offense was painfully bad...no need to worry about anything ladies and gents.

I don't think anyone thought/thinks that. I think the offense will be fine, but I hate that we don't have a guy who can get into the pitcher's head when on base.
