What are the odds we hear in a few weeks that Willingham's back has been bothering him for a while? :/

He's a negative person. Leave him be.
I like sportsfan.  He's the monkey in the wrench, the milk in the coffee, the syrup on the waffles and the pain in the...    ( Neck)!  :hurr:

Wouldn't be surprising at all. He looks worthless but then again he looked like this for much of last year too.

Can't hit a lick.

Who would play left field?  Not Willie Harris, hopefully.

What ever happened to the Anacostia waterfront?    Then I heard Germantown and possibly N. VA.   Don't recall the Baltimore move.   I used to be a ST holder when the Dips were in town with Johann Cruyff.

Poplar Point (the Anacostia site, visible from Nats Park from the south end of the 300 concourse) is pretty much a no-go now - nothing's been awarded and some environmentalists have filed a lawsuit against development of the site. Nothing's going to happen there for a few years yet.

A site in PG also fell through; all Kevin Payne is saying right now is 'there are talks' on various Virginia and Maryland sites, but if Baltimore comes through with something definite (and one must also bear in mind the possibility of the Danny Dome on the RFK site - about the only such project within DC that has any hope of approval, after all the angst over Nationals Park) it could be all up with United in DC.

---

Mystics up 37-34 at the half - letting Connecticut back into the match with turnovers, offensive fouls and too many second-chance points allowed. Come on, some local side has to win today!

Yep!

She looks real nice.   Made it to the Murph in SD but missed Dodger Stadium.   The Dodgers were out of town.

Great stadium. The fans always fashionably late arriving... a SoCal thing. There are usually 30 to 40,000 there. Dodger dogs, mustard and ketchup. Really good chicken fingers and it easy to get in and out of the stadium with easy access parking to the freeway.

I'm so sick of scrub pitchers infecting this team. It's a plague that's been going on since the team moved to DC.

The fact that we have to actually use Batista in key situations now is pathetic. Our bullpen was actually decent earlier in the season when we could afford to use bums like Batista in mop up role only.
