Redding said he is feeling better after back problems, so expect him to pitch
against the Phillies. Redding acknowledged he was able to relax a little more
this offseason because he was able to show he still is a quality pitcher. Last
season, Redding was one of the feel-good stories on the Nationals.
Hamels sputtered through another Grapefruit League season with lackluster
results, but the confident lefty isn't concerned. He had a poor Spring
Training in 2007, then won 15 games. His biggest goal this season is to
stay healthy, something he'll have to do if he's going to realize his goal of
winning 20 games.
