This is bullcrap. Suppan has a 1.55 WHIP and we only have 2 freaking baserunners through 4 innings.

Knock on wood defense is playing solid behind Perez who has been lights out.  Why don't we try Milledge as leadoff hitter?

I like
CF Milledge
SS Guzman
3B Zimmerman
1B Young
LF Pena
C Flores
2B Lopez
RF Dukes
Pitcher

much better

Seriously, that thing was cringe-inducing.

2 Milledge
3 Zimmerman
4 Young
5 Flores
6 Pena
7 Dukes
8 Lopez
9 Pitcher

I concur.  There's a reason that was his first steal of the year: bad lead, bad speed...

I'm shocked he hasn't stolen 3rd. Perez is awful at holding runners on.

This is where having the pitcher batting 8th bites you in the ass.

Well guys, just dropping in for a few minutes before my Spurs start playing in the Western finals ... looks like so far the only things that have happened in this game are that Wily Mo finally did something, and the two pitchers have been faring much better than they deserve to be.

Not if you're facing our freaking pitchers who give up stolen bases.

0-2 Count. Pitcher up without a hit all year. And he freaking blew it.

Fixed.  No matter where the pitcher bats, it's a huge nuisance early in the game.
