If you have a PS3, dl the M.A.G beta, it's pretty cool.

i plan on getting fifa. i have nhl2k10 (they dont have EA NHL 10).  it seems really hard at first. but if you use the practice feature, you can get it.  at first, my gf and i were like "this game sucks". but after practicing it has some potential.

the graphics kind of blow though.  fifa should be good

I got fifa the other day, really easy game to enjoy. 1 warning about fifa on wii- there is really no manager mode

I've been playing MAG the last couple of nights. I'm not sure as of yet if I like it or not. I've been playing MW2, so it's hard to get used to it after having played MW2 for so long. It's definately got some good stuff going for it. It will be cool as hell when they have 256 players on there.

Ya, after my initial post, I really haven't played much. I got to lvl 10 and was able to join a game with 256 people. The fps and the lag is a bit annoying. Then again, a lot of stuff is going on. But still, the fps is really annoying, it's pretty sluggish.

Looks pretty good. Still wish they would start using the sticks to hit/pitch, or at least have the option to.

Ahhh, I think I see how to pitch now with that video.  Press the button to start the pitch, then press it again at the top for power, then hit it at the mark for the release.  I was always hitting it once to start the wind up, then again at the release, or 2 total times.  There are 3 total button presses, which I wasn't doing.

I'll have to play the demo of '09 to see if I can get it right now

The game looks great, but what did they do to Span's batting stance?!  The swing is perfect, though.

You can use the sticks to hit. Have been for a while.

Pitching, I prefer the 'classic' mode where you just press the button and the pitchers ratings/confidence/fatigue determine if the pitch is going where you aimed it.

Makes playing with different players really stand out. You can tell the difference in a Sabathia vs. a scrub like Livo.

Can you? I always thought you couldn't.

^^I just purchased a copy of the first one from the EA store on the recommendation of several friends, and even at the $5 promo price, I'm already regretting it.  Have to use their crapware download manager to download it, which isn't SO bad, but as I'm reading through the FAQ, it sounds like I might have to keep the damn thing installed in order to play the game :?

Guess we'll find out in a couple of hours.

Playing an FPS on a controller is inherently inferior.  Mindfact.

That said, at least you xbox guys don't have to deal with 60 different flavors of DRM.

But it's not really a full fledged FPS.  I liked it much more for the RPG elements.

It's an FPSRPG

I've watched my brother play it, there's enough action and precision involved that having to use a controller would be serious handicap.  To each their own, however
