Nothing would be sweeter than for the Nats to beat the "Damn Yankees" !

I really don't want the Yankees to even sniff a WS win, so I'll be rooting for the Tigers, but the Nats actually beating the Yanks for all the marbles sounds like a dream.

Ok, the more I hear it, the more I don't get it.  It sounds like something out of Howdy Doody.

It's the trademark sound of some electronics store in Connecticut. Talk about greedy.

Yeah this was devastating. Being one freakING strike away from euphoria and having it turn into absolute heartbreak is not something you get over right away. I have to admit that my heart was pounding with anticipation when I sensed the end (in a good way) coming. But I'm a Washington sport fan so I'm sort of used to having my heart ripped out. But it doesn't make it any easier. I saw my nephew crying at the end of the game. I thought this week had great potential. It ended up being a complete freaking disaster. The Redskins took it in the ass Sunday. The Nats totally let me down. And I fully expect the Redskins to bend over for the vikings and invite deeper penetration.  :smh:
