what do you think he can honestly do? we have tons of holes, it's not like 1,2, or even 3 players could change this team. We need an entirely new pitching staff, bench players, starters ...
In other news: Dmitri Young is upset that people see him as "fat".
I kind of wish Hanrahan was a starter. At least he gives us a different type of arm to throw out there.
And who has the power to make those moves?
We don't have the pieces to make those moves. The most we could trade for right now are more "maybe" prospects. We have enough of those. Teams aren't just going to give us guys that will go right into the rotation.
I'm not saying go out and trade our prospects, I'm saying if what we have isn't working, go with something else. Bring up players, send down players, move players around in the lineup..just do something to show us you want to improve this team!
There's only so much we can do, though. You have to take into account options, development, and the fact that all we can really do is go younger, which doesn't necessarily mean better.
