I'll take Adams on a Brad Lidge type deal

Puff puff pass, man.

You don't get these guys for these magically one sided deals.

It reminds me of this.

We should trade Jesus Flores and Henry Rodriguez for Clayton Kershaw and Matt Kemp

Adams will likely get a Silly Hat type deal or perhaps a little less.

This is my thought as well.  He might get more than Burnett.

It doesn't make sense to pay that much to a bullpen guy who might pitch 50 innings.  And this particular guy, Adams, is older and coming off both a down season and an injury/surgery.

If money is no object, then sure, sign everyone.  But for this team, that money is better spent elsewhere.  Bring back Gorz or Gonzalez or bring in JP Howell.  Or better yet, find the next Michael Gonzalez.

Uh ... we got Brad Lidge on a one sided deal.

Offer him a 1 year deal. He's coming off an injury and a really poor year. He does well this year, he ups his stock come next year's free agency.

I really don't see him getting a big deal. Not at 33. Not coming off that injury.

Boz drops some news into his column on the Nats, MASN and the Dodgers. The Nats' 2-year offer to LaRoche is $25M.

So he's half as good as Hamilton?

Well, there's the former Pirate.  Roberts, I think was his name.  But it turns out, he's not really left handed.

Mike Gonzalez, JP Howell, Tom Gorzelanny, Will Ohman, and non-tender options (Rich Hill).

Giants signed another reliever to a 3 year $15 mil contract.

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/12/giants-casilla-agree-to-three-year-deal.html

This guy - http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/garcija01.shtml - who appears to be a decent reliever but nothing amazing.  They get his last year of arbitration and 2 years of free agency.

EDIT - I just looked him up.  Interesting story about him picking up a new identitiy in the DR and then going back to his true identity later.  This article from 2007 also references Roger Clemens, which I also thought was funny.  http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/2007-06-22-2365776732_x.htm
