Capernick may turn bust, but wilson looks like a slightly shorter RG3 to me, and I'd rather shorter (RG3 isn't exactly towering either) plus a legitimate RT or corner or safety, or all of the above by the time we start getting first round picks back
Maybe, and that goes back to what you and Knorr were talking about. Actually having seen all of them play this year would certainly change people's opinions... but before the draft RGIII was the obvious choice and completely worth the trade since there wasn't much of a selection to begin with and that QB was our most pressing need.
I would agree that Wilson plus the picks we got rid of would be nice but I think RGIII was worth it and that such a trade should be made again in the future, even with this injury.
