No current Nats are registered members that I know of.  I'm just talking about someone who reads as a guest, or at least has in the past.  I only heard about it second-hand but I trust the source.

hill never posted, but he responded to PMs. church was an active poster over on the scout boards. i actually got into a mini argument with him over a catchable fly ball.

I think that's it for me gents.  I'll check in tomorrow.

P.S.  Chief, add my new emoticons.  I think they're all generic enough for general usage.  Otherwise, I'll sic the cat in your avatar on you.

I think you got it mixed up.  Church never posted here that I remember but he was registered.  Hill has exactly two posts here.

hill did respond to PMs though. i remember pitching the idea of him as a closer to him. his response was that the Nats wanted him to start, but if he had to be a reliever, closer fit his mentality best.

Any evidence or reason for a hunch? I'm curious.

[UPDATE, 11:17 p.m.] -- It's pouring again. All of a sudden. The groundscrew is again scrambling for the tarp to re-cover the infield.

Just call it.

Because this is already a make-up game, and the NL Central is really tight.
