Didn't you just say the same thing about Kearns? I think you actually pulled a sportsfan. ;)

Yeah that was the point...  after I saw what happened when I said it about Kearns, I figured I'd try it again! ;)

Belliard in at first.  I can just imagine AZ dropping his Dukes/Colome baseball cards, running right in front of the TV screen, and drooling.

think it was the right move to pinch run for Johnson?

would he have made it home on that Kearns hit?

I had to grab dinner, can somebody tell me what Cordero's line was and how he pitched?  Any improvement in velocity?

But holy crap, why is Nick Johnson out of the game?  It's hard to imagine a scenario where we win in extras.

Edit: Nevermind.  I forgot about Harris as a PR.  freak

I think so because he would have been running right away at the crack of the bat. I felt a lot better with Willie out there though. Better safe than sorry.

I don't know his line, but his velocity's pretty much back to normal!

Haha. You and sportsfan did the same thing. He did the whole "long swing" post twice.

lead-off walk. Saul does that every other outing.  He had him down 0 to freaking 2

In spite of 2k6nats' attempt to end the one-game winning streak by JINXING this thread,
the WOMP RAT gets Country Boy to tie 'er up.

How fitting would it be for Saul "clutch money" Rivera to blow this?  It's been bizarro night. :?

incidentally, this is exactly why we need Belliard on the BENCH, and not starting. because he can do crap like this. (coming in late and playing 1st if we need him to)

which mean we need a 2nd Baseman who can actually be a better starter option than belliard.
