They should have to wear caps with straight W's on them, because they aren't getting any curly ones.

Yeah, but they'd probably put the "W" on backwards.

Johnny Holliday actually started a sentence about Lannan by saying, "Save for those two innings..." Give me a freaking break. He only pitched 6 innings. You can't sugar coat it by saying he was good for 4 of them. He wasn't horrible, but he gave up 9 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings and relied on stellar defense to bail him out. We have to expect more from our starters. Lannan has shown effectiveness, this shouldn't be considered a good outing.

yes. Flores was also 0/4 with 3 Ks. Dunn was 0/2 with 2 Ks and 2 BBs. Kearns 0/3 with a K and a BB.

Which followed Dibble sobbing about the moving strike zone.  The Braves didn't seem to have any problem identifying which pitches to swing at and which not to.

That's a good nice for Dunn. Guzman was a beast again.

if we keep this up we aren't getting Strasburg. Boras will ensure that.

Manny says no reason to panic yet. told the players the same thing. says it's way too early to be frustrated.

Chico Harlan is such a douche bag, btw. he sounds like a 12 year old pre-pubescence boy. :?

Manny: anybody who gets frustrated over losing 5 games is in the wrong business.

And I loved the way Johnny Holiday went right to Ray after the presser to ask Ray if he ever started 0-5 in his career.  Even tho Ray said he did, it was the disdain in Holiday's voice over what he just heard from the presser that was priceless.
