Still on dial-up or something? ;)

Seriously though, I guess it is kinda large but really the threshold for "acceptable" image sizes in recent years has skyrocketed.  I frequent other forums where 2 megapixel and larger images are posted on a routine basis, unresized and unmodified (which I personally find obnoxious but oh well).  To me, the screen space that something takes up is a much bigger deal than how long it takes to download anyway since it's cached after the first DL.  I hate horizontal scrolling.

I wasn't at all worried about its size in relation to download time, since I have an extremely fast DSL connection that well surpasses the 5 Mbps they advertised. I was comparing it to most animated GIF files that are dwarfed by the file size your Prairie Dog. I still love the GIF, so much so, I considered making it loop seamlessly... That's considered, not actually doing...

Well it's lost it's luster now Chief.  Kind of like when you record a baseball game only to have somebody at work tell you the score before you have a chance to go home and watch it.   :?

Kinda like the Seinfeld episode where Jerry had taped the game and didn't want to hear how it ended before watching the tape.

I couldn't see the (spider?) pic. Boo hoo.  :(

Speaking of funny animal-related clips, natsfan1b and I can get bad fits of what my mom used to call "giggle-itis" by watching, or referring to, the last scene of the Yogi Berra Aflac commercial, where the duck drops its "jaw" and does a "huh?" double-take. natsfan1b, a much better mimic than I am, has this take down.

Hope I did the URL right on this one...
