If we keep playing like **** then they have every right to rip on us.  If the Nats want to show people that they are legit then they need to at the very least split the series. Right now it looks as though we could get swept which combined with giving up Barry's HR is a complete disaster.

we're 1 run down in the 5th inning of game two and now we're being swept? your dramatics are really out of control

Who wants to bet ESPN spends the rest of the series ripping on us and how much we must suck since we gave it up?

nah, they'll just hype Bonds even more. Nats don't matter in this situation. That's why I didn't mind all that much. It'd be a WHOLE other thing if it was a RFK, though.

Point is, we'll never know. Many people say Brian friggin Roberts did roids. Supposedly they were w/ the O's (and all other teams, for that matter) for a long while.

Good point. Which may be why he refuses to condemn that type of crap, his boy Brady Anderson was a juicer too.

I don't care what Bob says he had his call scripted. But he didn't hype it. He was low key about it so I was cool with it.

haha..I was a huge Brady Anderson fan for a while. I remember that HUGE home run season for him was confusing to me, even then.

that homerun has emotionally exhausted the ants. they looked overwhelmed and outta it. seen some very uninspiring at bats there this inning

sigh... the offense won't score now that real pitchers are pitching to them.  Bacsik screwed us though.  With a solid effort from him we would have a lead.

Charley Slowes was appropriately "excited" too.  No over-dramatization by him either.

Confusing? That was 1996 and he hit 50 bombs. He was definitely on the juice.

oh man..did you mean to call um the ants? That'd be bad if that's what our new nickname is...it kind of works, though, w/ the letters and all.
