According to gamecast he would have struck out before that, we got some calls our way in that AB.

Sounds like Hill actually IS a lot like John Patterson.  Looks like him too.

except he's left-handed, throws 87 mph fastballs, and a bunch of loopy curve balls.

Reminds me of Mike O'Connor

It must not be very difficult to come by tickets behind the plate, because I see different people there practically every night.

They cost about $320-$340 apiece.  That's why.  (I sat there at the Grand Opening day.  ouch!)

I wondered if they'd set up patio tables in that open area behind those seats.  The handrail at center leads up to the President's Club restaurant, which is where they're eating in the first innings.  They do have seat service, and waitresses bring food and beer to your seat.

I'm tired of the word rebuilding.  We're not rebuilding.  We're building.  We've never had anything successful to build back to.  Can't rebuild what's never been.

Since you have no concept of subtlety, I'll forgive you not noticing that I'm not talking about the way they pitch AT ALL.

Checked MLB Gameday, and it shows you are right.  ESPN gamecast must be a bit off tonight.

Has there been any empirical testing to see how accurate any of those things actually are anyway?

No clue, but it's all I have to go by since I work nights and don't get to watch the game live.

I work 4pm-midnight Mon-Fri, and every third weekend, so at most I get to see 4 games live out of every 3 weeks.  I always watch the replay on masn if they show the Nats game, but even then I miss the first 4 innings usually.  It sucks.  But at least I have internet access at work ;)

Yeah that's what I used to do when I worked nights.  I don't know what any of us would do without internet at work.  We'd probably have to do work or some crazy crap like that

BA down to .276.

I hope for the team's sake he does come out of it. We aren't paying him just to produce in April. There are 6 months in a baseball season.
