To add further insult, the lot I parked in is blocked off while a crime is investigated.

With 712 LOB, the Nationals have stranded more base runners than any other team in the entire MLB :hang:

Both our soccer teams won today (DC United beat Colorado 3-1 and the Freedom kept their playoff hopes alive with a 1-nil win over St Louis) and the Mystics hung on to beat New York 68-67...too bad the Nats couldn't make this a perfect night for the local sides.

LOL, you guys won't even know what to do with yourselves when you start winning!
You should've seen this forum a couple years ago when we actually had winning streaks!  We actually enjoyed ourselves back then at those times. :|

lol, yeah, 2007

"Those were the days." :?

It's really sad that 2007 was the high water mark of the Lerner era.  This was a year where the roster was so talentless that they were projected to lose like 105 games!

didn't we finish '07 like 56-56 in our last 128 games?

And our roster was pretty dreadful that year. This year's team features the most talent we have ever had yet our record is by far the worst.

This team just doesn't know how to win. They don't give a crap and they suck anyways.

Funny story. The other day I went to the Nats game, Riggleman's first as manager, with a couple of friends. We got there early for autographs, so we were right behind the Nats dugout. So we're sitting there, and we see Debbi Taylor. My friend called to her and said she was his favorite reporter, so she came into the stands with a look of total shock and signed a baseball for him. She called him sweet.

Dude, Debbi is a person, and a not that famous one at that. She's on the TV screen a few minutes per game. Just turn the channel or mute it if you dislike her that much.

You shouldn't have to change the channel.  Reporters are supposed to be professionals and add to the game's broadcast.  She adds nothing and she is an amatuer.

I would rather have sportsfan882 as the sideline reporter.

Substitute Jim Rome with sportsfan and Jim Everett with David Wright and I would pay to see it.

Alright, just got home from the trip last night.

Fun evening... but if the crowd wasn't 4/1 Cubs/Nats fan I don't know what else it could be.
