When these last two Simontacchi runs come in, his ERA for the game will be 30.00...

Done and done.

What are the chances our highlights make it to the next edition of Baseball Tonight?  :?

Speigner isn't eager to prove he belongs at this level, even out of the BP, either.

I gotta well over.  I'm thinking something like over 20.

When you're puking, may as well get it all out.

A scoreless inning when you're down by a hundred...

Last night was the night to "get it all out" after being clubbed 9-1 early.  There is no excuse for back-to-back no shows at home regardless of the opponent.  Tomorrow's game is now a must-win and we will have to beat a pitcher who hasn't lost all season.  We have struggled against the Tigers' worst pitchers, no way we touch Bonderman.

if it's any consolation, the Mets are down 9-0 at home to the Twins and have committed 4 errors already in that game.

I would just like to say that it is possible to come back twelve down.  That is all.

Maybe in football. The Nats actually would've had a better chance playing the Detroit Lions tonight.

Can you imagine forking up 100 bones next season at the new stadium (just for tickets) and getting to witness this type of game

I wouldn't know what do to.  I have been to a few games this year that have been horrible (5-0 loss to LA, 9-1 loss to Arizona, opening day disaster VS Florida) but not at this level of a blowout and I have only seen 2 Nats' victories but overall most of the games I have been to have been close.

A question that just occurred to me.  If an NL team uses a pinch hitter and they hit around, when the pinch hitter spot comes back up, does the team have to use another pinch hitter?

The 3rd and 4th inning were torture to watch.

It's hard to believe Traber is 2-0 with a below 2 ERA.
