Perhaps.  The way he throws looks like he's trying to "steer" the ball to 1B which is usually a sign of confidence.  Perhaps it's also the injury - if it is hurting him, he probably should throw sidearm.

It's not an "if", it's been widely reported that throwing is painful and he's been experimenting with different styles trying to find a way that doesn't hurt.  So does he lack confidence, of course, but the real cause is pain from the surgery and his lack of practice at alternative throwing styles.

Johnny Holliday is always about 10 seconds behind. That makes him about 20 seconds behind the radio broadcast.  :?

It's why I don't buy the injury theory.  If throwing was hurting him, I doubt he;d go all out on the throws where he ranges toward the 3B bag.  Plus, it would negatively affect his swing to the point where he'd be a liability in the lineup.

They've been talking about it since he returned.  It doesn't hurt him to field, run, or hit, only to throw.  Something about the across the body motion.

Right. And in game situations where he doesn't have time to think, he throws like the old Zimm. I hope he can do that all the time soon.

They've been talking about it since he returned.  It doesn't hurt him to field, run, or hit, only to throw.  Something about the across the body motion.

He's at 89 pitches! wtf!

It's only the 6th inning. Now we need 10 outs from the pen.

I don't trust Henry Rodriguez at all.
