I haven't checked his stats from 2006, but I sincerely doubt he had an ERA over 17.  This is total collapse, not a floor that was predictable and that Rizzo should have known better to avoid.
I meant like 6 ERA.  I doubt this will continue, but I could see him having an ERA of like 5-6 this year.

Wow, worst game in team history by far.

I seem to be jinxing every team I listen to today.  The White Sox.  Now the Nats.  I think I'll do you guys a favor, and tune into the Phillies.

If you're a fan with a ticket and you're just walking up to the ballpark.... do you turn around and leave when you see its 10-0 in the first inning?

We barely got any mention in the press for yesterday's gem, but I'll bet we get rolled out front and center to be mocked by one and all after today's game.

Marquis now has a 20.52 ERA. That is 5X worse than what he was expected to do.

Charlie just said "the Nationals have an uphill climb."  Now that's an understatement.

Walk to Fielder . . . "the inning . . . . continues."  14 batters in the top of the 1st.

1 out for Batista is more impressive than the egg Marquis laid. Batista was put in a bad position.

Miguel Batista actually has the lowest ERA of any pitcher in this game.
