of course he strikes out Ross on 3 consecutive sliders.

where was that pitch on the 3-2 count to Uggla?!

Wow, I can't believe everyone thinks Nyjer made the mistake there.  Nick was very slow in getting to third.  He would've easily been out had there been a relay throw, IMO.

He threw to third, he should have thrown to second. It seemed a pretty clear decision for someone with a weak arm like Nyjer's.

Can Sosa drive Kearns to the dr. in Baltimore - then they can just stay there.

It's sportsfan's odds fairies back after us for winning 3 straight.

it's not over yet :hang:

who pitches the 8th? our pen has been way overused lately. Kensing is probably the freshest arm since he hasn't pitched since Monday. :spaz:

Just a few minutes ago SF was going nuclear about the idea of walking Uggla to face Ross. Then he posted this:

horrific. 3-2 fastball to Dan Uggla with first base open?! inexcusable.

I went to post the two next to each other to show how he contradicted himself within minutes (again) but the first post where he questioned the idea of even contemplating to walk Uggla had been deleted.

Might come back with Sosa, he was okay.  Clippard?  Biemel?  Oh, wait.

walking him > throwing him a meat fastball down the middle.

I figured after it was 3-0 he would have just put him on base. nothing to gain by trying to pitch to him at that point and making 3 perfect pitches.

Had he not fallen behind you absolutely want to challenge Uggla but of course our pitchers have still not gotten the memo on how to get him out. We refuse to throw him anything off-speed.
