Rauch is going to give it up here...he almost had two dingers last inning.  That means they are seeing his pitches real well.

If we're going to lose, I wish we'd lose sooner than later (and if we win, I'd rather it be sooner than later, too).  I'm probably looking at seven hours at the most of sleep tonight.  O baseball gods, just end it soon, win or loss.

Hit.

No activity in the bullpen.  Rauch is our man.

somehow as soon as cordero loaded the count, i knew he would walk the guy, and proceed to blow the save.  I just felt it.  Too many bad omens tonight.  I don't know why anyone's surprised about Greene hitting the slam, he was the only Pad hitting ANYTHING up until the 9th...

I'm thinking this is gonna be a big boost for the Pads and make the much harder to beat tomorrow, whereas going into the ninth we had them completely demoralized and a possible sweep lined up.  Oh well...  down the drain that went :(

Nothing's been decided yet.  I'm not taking this as a loss until I actually hear the walk-off.

Men on first and second, two outs.  We've been able to eke it out so far, I think we can get a third out.  Khalil Greene stayed on second for some reason even though he could have taken third on the single.  Ramon Hernandez up.

and just to make it extra embarassing and put the icing on the cake, here's a 3-run homer to further skew our run totals

Ramon Hernandez, that's the guy who hit a homer last night too.
