Hey can somebody tell me why Vidro came out for Kelly other than speed?  Vidro wasn't hurt or anything was he?

I don't think so...just wanted Kelly to run the bases for him for speed.

A catch-all post, so I'm not wasting as much board space:

The Rosetta Stone... (keeping the mind sharp)

Ou speudo katheudein alla akouo angelou Nationalon.  Ethelo nikan.

Je ne dors pas mais j'?coute l'?mission des Nationals.  Je veux gagner.

I am not sleeping but listening to the Nationals broadcast.  I want to win.

------------------------------------------------------------

Sounds like the San Diego fans are PISSED.  Who shat in their coffee this morning?  How bad is the officiating, really, for those who are watching the game?

Deivi Cruz -- OUT

I'm going to keep this up until the Chief comes out -- but Bergmann is pitching in the bullpen because I don't think that this is a save situation.  I didn't catch who this is at bat.  And Dave Shea just said the exact same thing I just said about Bergmann and the Chief.  The Dr. 'Dres fans are livid.  I think every ball we get, they're gonna boo.  Fearless prediction.  This is the pitcher's spot, I think.  No, it's Wilkie.  Cruz was the pitcher's spot: no crap, Sherlock.  Here comes Frank -- and here come the boobirds! -- but why?  We're getting the calls.  Our strikes are their balls.

Wilkerson -- BASE HIT!!!

With all the crap the Padres are giving the umps, it'll be crap if FR gets tossed.  And I was wrong yet again -- why did I think Cruz?  Because Wilkerson was at bat?  Who started at 2B?  Damned if I know.  Double-switches can freak a guy over.  Carlos Baerga is up.  I really like this guy.  He kind of sucks as a player but he looks like a really nice person, the kind of chubby jolly guy who's just a barrel of monkeys to be around.  He looks a bit like a sausage (it first came to me while playing in Milwaukee).

Baerga - OUT 2 and DOUBLE PLAY OUT 3.

End of inning, end of post.

Really?  Not a save situation.  Maybe they want to keep him fresh by giving him some work, but I could just as easily see Bergmann or Eischen coming in.

And Bergmann it is.  C'mon JASON!

You know I would love to write this off as a win, but after seeing the Marlins collapse in the ninth inning live today, I'ma wait until the last out

Bergmann rules!

I hope, I won't jinx things! Nah, he's gonna do well.

I'm sick and nothing cures me more then a nats (and they're winning)game.

I cant wait till tomorrows game, cuz it will actually be on TV!! I was so desperate for baseball, I watched the Mets and Braves & the Red Sox and A's. Which reminds me, if the Nats dont make the playoffs, I want someone from the AL to win the world series? Is that how you guys feel too?

yea, he looks really pissed, him and Schneider should get retakes

wow, it would be a shame to lose the shutout. Then the final score wouldnt reflect how dominate our pitchers were (knock on wood)
