I can't wait to see how Ladson blames Dunn for that defensive error.

This play happens like 3 times a week. This is totally unacceptable

Bernadina threw the ball to third knowing that he had no chance to get Cairo out

once again - imagine how bad this game would be to watch without Dibble.

LaRusa would have him playing RF on days he doesn't pitch.

Is it praise for Leake or the sad state of the Nationals that Leake is probably a better hitter than any hitter on the Nats other than the Middle of the order?

praise for Leake.

BTW, the Reds still have Micah Owings, another great hitting pitcher.

Dibble is at his finest when the team is awful.

Martin and Atilano to the minors. Maybe someday Atilano will be a ML pitcher, but he looks like a guy who went once through the league, each game going twice through the batting order, and then the whole league understood him. Done.

Martin? Martin???

Well: who is in the minors? Martis and Chico? Makes my stomach hurt!

Yet another rain delay maybe this one will help us instead of hurt us.

I'm pretty sure the game is now official. Riggleman should go up to the umpire and forfeit this game so that he doesn't have waste his bullpen pitchers.

Atilano needs to be sent down immediately...give chico or martis another shot

I'd go with Chico.  Let Martis prove over an extended time period that he's figured out how to not walk every other hitter.  He's still young enough to figure it out and still have a long career.

Yup...atilano and martis are very similar...both came up and racked up a ton of wins early (thanks to run support sprinkled in with few good outings)...no more than a 5.

Chico looks real good down there.

Things could be worse.

You could be like the Brewers who are down 9-0 to the Pirates in the first inning.

BTW this game is now 10-9 Bucs in the top of the 6th, 1 out.
