Yes. It's a variation on an old joke. But what jokes aren't variations on older jokes?

Hey 1a!

This isn't a sports thing, but...

I just finished a really awesome book today that I think you would probably enjoy, "Just Jane" by Nancy Moser.  I found it at Borders in the religious fiction section, but it's not really a religious book at all.  It's a bio-fiction about the life of Jane Austen, who was the daughter of a rector in England.  The author has taken from her letters and other research to learn about her life, wrote this book from Jane Austen's perspective and it's really interesting!  And the only religious parts of it pertain to her father's job and the simple ways her faith was a part of her life plus a few scripture verses.  Given some conversations here, I thought you and maybe a couple other ladies might find this interesting.  I blew through it in under 24 hours!  Moser has also written a historical fiction about the life of Mozart's sister, Nannerl - another recommended read!  If you're interested, I can pass along these copies to you.

Wow, talk about hijacking a thread.  From hilarious goof books that will never be to an actual review of a book found in the religious fiction section of Borders.

I know....But it wasn't ABOUT religion.  It was only there because it was published by Bethany House publishers, otherwise it was perfectly suitable for the mainstream fiction section.

And it was pertinent to previous discussions of Jane Eyre on the board.

and this is obviously about a different classic writer, which you (NOTLD) should be well aware of -- Jane Austen (Pride & Prejudice, Emma, Mansfield Park, Sense & Sensibility)

Thank you, 1a!
