A few things I've noticed during this game so far:

  • Balester is a BADASS when pitching from the windup, but he's below average from the stretch (loses 4-7 mph on his fastball and leaves pitches up)
  • Dukes is looking more like a power hitter. He doesn't react like it's his first or last home run anymore. Awesome.
  • Belliard does his homework. He guesses a lot, but it's because he usually knows what each pitcher will do in all situations.
