Okay. What does voided option mean, specifically - I get lost in some of these terms.
Every time you kick a guy off the 25 man, you burn an option. Usually this can be done 3 times in the first 4 years of a players major league career. If he stays in the majors the entire year, you save an option.
He's not going to the minors, he's going to the 15-day DL in the majors, so the option stays intact.
