I swear it seems like the Cards carry 15 pitchers on their roster.

Not seeing why the Tigers should be penalized for winning their division.

If they were in any other division, they wouldn't be in the playoffs.

How is that their problem?

Unless you want to do away with divisions and take the best 4, 5 teams based on record... One team is always going to win a division with the worst record of the six division winners.

I do. I've always thought the division system was dumb. Take the 4 best teams. Everyone plays every other team an equal amount of times during the regular season. 4 best teams from each league go to the playoffs.

Also would like to remove about 8 teams from MLB, but I doubt that happens either.

Yep

Though, If you had 20 teams in baseball, the owners would make more money and have a greater split of TV revenues. Plus we would get rid of all the cheap owners who don't care about their on the field product coughcoughroyalscough

The Nats used Storen in an 8-0 loss. Then they used him the following night in a 1-1 game. And then they used him the third successive night up by 2.  :hang:

Romo hasn't pitched since Thursday, tomorrow is an off day. Do you really want him going 6 days between appearances?
