So damn predictable.. We have had our chances but can't get a clutch hit at all.  This 1 run lead will NOT hold up against this very good Mets' lineup. Our offense has to put some more runs up.  Our pitching shouldn't have to be perfect every night.

Shutup!  QUIET!  It might not look pretty but we are winning and we don't need to be jinxed by negative attitudes.

That's how it was two years ago and it came back to haunt us in the end. No room for mistakes from the pitchers and the defense.

So you think our 2 runs will hold up?

Did the predictions of an automatic loss to John Smoltz last night?

It can hold.  It is tough but they can hold it as long as they play smart.

I actually predicted we would win the game.  See Game thread.  And Schneider drops the ball on a pitch out...  The lead was nice while it lasted.

I blame you if the lead does go to squat.  It was fine until you threw in the towel.  Excuse me while I strip naked and do a "bat wake up dance."

Alright JP, I'll take it.  Very solid performance.  But honestly, I do not expect Bowie to come in the game and get 2 outs without giving up a run or more.

Patterson to the showers after 77 pitches, made it into the 6th inning.  Only gave up 2 hits, 3 walks, so maybe I'd have left him in.  BOWIE time!
