anybody know anything about sump pumps. like how to make sure mine works and how to turn it on. it is kind of buried in the basement floor, i hope it is one of those automatic turn on types. havent had to use it yet. hopefully it stays that way

Mine turns on every so often when it rains because there's a stream under my house, but I want to test it tomorrow.
