Damn, didn't watch the game. I was on gameday for a few innings at a friends house and then watched Letters of Iwo Jima. That movie is almost as depressing as this teams bullpen. Mock 2 runs given up? Colome 3? Wells 1? jesus. They cant do anything can they?

Good grief. Even in a no-pressure situation with the manager already telling him he would get the closer job back Joel goes out and blows it again. Two walks and allows the first walk to get to 2B uncontested to he can score. Not hard to believe that in a save situation that Joel would be a complete spaz, dripping with sweat, unable to find the plate.

We have a whole bullpen of Joey Eichens.

Jack Wilson is a homer shy of the cycle.

This is truly historic.  The things this bullpen will "accomplish" have never and will never be seen again.

Bullpen has yielded 9 runs in 4 innings. They are a disgrace to the sport of baseball.

Let's see...what will Manny say in the postgame presser?

"Hanrahan really hung in there and battled to get those three outs"

"The stats may not show it, but the bullpen is improving. Randy is working on some things with them that doesn't show up in the stats"

We go into these games with one hand tied behind our back. Winning is almost impossible.

Well Capps is out there in a non save situation... unfortunately six runs is a bit much to expect us to score this inning.

I'd let him try.

He would like to gag himself with Dukes' jock while waiting.

You know, it might be easier for our hitters to play when they know that, ultimately, they have little control over winning games.  It might be easier to perform like that.

Anybody else get the feeling that the "bad baseball is better than no baseball" thing is kind of wearing off? I'm kind of tired of bad baseball.
