A two-out hit.

We need those with runners in scoring position.

Unfortunately, the easiest time to get a hit is with two outs and no one on. Our team stats on this prove the point. And Zimmerman has pretty much lived off it this season. What I am hoping is that his recent regularity will get him into a much needed rhythm.

That pick off move looks strange but it is quick.

I think that could have been interference on Fielder is Weeks was safe.

Am I the only one who is thrilled to see that Schneider's ability to throw out runners at 2nd has made a much-needed reappearance!!

He started out the season throwing out 1 in 17, so YES, nice 2 C it!  Let's hope his bat warms up, since Flores is now hitting .280.

Absolutely. For a while there it looked as if he had totally lost it.

wtf Kearns.. Just when you think our offense is going to "break out" after the lead-off HR, they revert back to the same old ****.

If Young was injured yesterday then he shouldn't have played.

WTF. He probably didn't hustle from the outset. This sort of stuff is laughable.

Fick has to be setting some sort of bad-baserunning record this year.

dumbass Fick.. He should have made it to 2nd easily on that. This might be the worst offense in MLB history.

Understand the frustration, but at some point you have to give credit to the guy paid to beat you on the other side. That was a nasty pitch.

On the other hand. Fick oversliding the bag makes no sense.

That's twice this game that Fick made blockhead running mistakes.

We would need to check the Style section of the Washington P*** to verify that...

I have to concur with the earlier comment about the ump. He sucks.
