I REALLY hoping to win at least one game in the opening series, Acta is going to have his hands full trying to fix this group

This is rediculous, this team has played God-awful throughout this series.  Spring Training sure gave us a false image of our team

I regret everything I have ever said about Armas, Ortiz, and Astacio.  They were bad but not nearly as bad as the piece of **** pitchers we have right now.  We'll be lucky to win 30 games this year.  I admit it, I was wrong and the media was right.

Don't let NOTLD read that admission. He'll jump all over you for being a defeatist.

Well we opened up at home last year getting swept by the Mets so nothing has really changed.

on top of a lack of pitching, this team cannot produce any effective offense whatsoever

Well, at least Cabrera is owning for me in fantasy. He has been pulverizing the Nationals. I think the trend will continue, so I'm gonna pick up Byrnes for the D-Back series!

What I'm happy about is that Chico didn't hit over 60 pitches by the end of the 2nd inning.  It's the top of the 4th and he only threw around 45 so far.

Too bad that doesn't translate into keeping the Marlins from scoring runs

Livan Hernandez pitched 7 innings yesterday, 97 pitches, 2.57 ERA, 4 Ks, 2 walks, no decision (his Diamondbacks lost).

I was going to mention that. If everything goes accordingly, Livan will start vs us on Sunday @ RFK!

Since we're paying part of his salary, he ought to pitch 2 innings for Arizona (giving up 6 runs to us) and then, after he's settled down, pitch 4 innings in a Nationals uniform.

Brian "Mr. Sacrifice" Schneider leads the team in RBI, ironically has not got a hit yet.
