Is Jackson just a more expensive lannan? He started off great, but had a terrible June and July isn't looking so good either
EJax throws harder, which "baseball minds" like. He also goes further into ballgames. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I found it rare that Lannan would make it through six innings.
Hopefully Lannan makes a case with his limited chances to show, like he has in the past, that he belongs on an MLB roster next year and that he can be a productive contributor going in to the playoffs after SS is shut down.
