Dimitri Young fouls out.
His blood sugar was 893 one day last winter, when he learned he had diabetes, in 3 days in an intensive care unit. He should have died, and I knew a 48-year-old woman who actually DID die about a year ago, the same way. (She already knew that she had diabetes, a very dangerous disease.) Young now injects himself 4 times per day with insulin. His outlook is much different, with a new lease on life. He does need to lose weight, for better control of the disease.
