Zimm just hit a two run shot off Tom Gorzelanny. He also had a double in his first AB.

I'M EAGERLY ANTICIPATING THE RETURN OF ZIM!!!!!!!!

the wait for him to return has been painful. it's gonna be great to have the best young player in baseball back. he's gonna be playing third with his unmatched defense and batting third like it should be! this team isn't the same w/o him.

BTW, did anyone notice that since Zimmerman has been gone our defense has plummeted to one of the worst in the league errors wise? coincidence? i think not. Zimmerman is the best defensive player in baseball, period

Amazingly, I pretty much agree with all of this.  Maybe he's not the definitive best defensive player, but I'd take Zimmerman over any third baseman for his defense, and these weeks without him go to show why.
