I am so glad we are not there. The level of obnoxiousness at this point would be too much. I would probably be spending the night in jail.

Could you imagine the stink coming from the Filthies in the 90 degree heat?

They have probably started to celebrate by plugging urinals with paper towels and throwing beer at people.

WTF is with the caps?

All teams are wearing that design today.

MLB unveils 2011 Stars & Stripes caps to support Welcome Back Veterans
05/17/2011 10:09 AM ET MLB.com

MLB today unveiled the 2011 Stars & Stripes caps, which will be worn by all Clubs on Memorial Day (May 30) and Independence Day weekend (July 4) as part of Major League Baseball's fourth consecutive year of national fundraising and awareness initiatives for Welcome Back Veterans, a program which addresses the needs of returning American Veterans and their families. With the support of Major League Baseball and its Clubs, Welcome Back Veterans since 2008 has awarded more than $10 million in grants to 30 non-profit agencies across the country targeting veterans' greatest needs, including mental health and job training/placement.

The caps will continue to have the American flag etched into the team's logo and will have a modified design, with off-white fronts and blue or red brims and back panels (the Toronto Blue Jays hat will incorporate a Maple Leaf design instead of the "Stars & Stripes"). These MLB Authentic Collection caps, produced by New Era, are available for sale to the public at MLB.com. MLB Properties, Inc. and MLB.com each will donate all of their respective net proceeds received from the sale of the caps to Welcome Back Veterans. Pictured are the caps to be worn by the 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants and the current first place Cleveland Indians. Images of the caps for all 30 clubs are available here.

Welcome Back Veterans is an MLB Charities initiative in partnership with the McCormick Foundation and the Entertainment Industry Foundation. The program is supported by Major League Baseball Advanced Media and MLB Network. For additional information on Welcome Back Veterans, please go to www.WelcomeBackVeterans.org.

I want one of those jerseys.

Sleeveless women's Let Teddy Win $17.99       Cap $16.99

Sold at:
http://www.cafepress.com/letteddywin

The founder of the Let Teddy Win/Presidents Race Blog blog site was on the Nats pre-game radio show today.  He cited Jayson Werth's complaint that Teddy's losing was part of the franchise' "Culture of Losing," where LOSING is PLANNED, EXPECTED, and CELEBRATED. See:
http://www.wnff.net/index.php?topic=22778.0

The Let Teddy Win blogger is a member of WNFF, and sells those Let Teddy Win line of shirts to try and collect enough money to pay for his own season tickets for the Nationals.  A few years ago, I suggested "Run Teddy Run" instead of "Let Teddy Win," as do NOT want any races RIGGED anymore. Lo and behold, he's got one now!

The Philthies Phans aren't that bad today.  The FO could learn a thing or two about building a fan base from those scumbags.

Did Werth admit he was referring to Teddy? It sounds like a serious cop-out.

The only lesson to be learned from them is the group dynamics of aggressive lower primates
