Anyone here watch Californication? it's on Showtime. Good stuff just finished season 2, with season 3 coming out sometime this summer/fall.

I was bummed to hear NBC didn't pick up Kings for anything beyond this year.  They never gave that show a chance.  Horrible time slot, then moved it to an even worse one.  No suprise it didn't get good ratings, but I thought it had the potential to be a very good show.

I heard they cancelled "Life", hammonds. what happened?

I still have that on my next to watch list after I finish the last season and a half of Smallville.

it's decent. I started watching it a a few years ago despite not watching the first few seasons. I liked it but after a while I kind of lost interest. It got kind of repetitive. The non-serial shows where every episode is essentially stand-alone gets old after a while. Every episode is a different case and they solve it by the end of the episode. I like shows where there is more carry-over from week to week with longer storylines.

House battles a new case every week but they do a great job of adding in storylines that span several episodes which keep the show fresh.

the marketing for the show was terrible and they dicked it around from day 1 (they kept moving it to different nights/timeslots).  but there is a pretty solid following - mini cult - and there's some talk maybe USA will pick it up (i think it'd be a great fit with burn notice, monk, physch, etc).

yeah life is a fun show with a lot of twists.  the minor characters/guest stars have cheesy acting sometimes, but for the most part i give it 3 stars out of 4.

Just about to post about House, M.D. ... it's my new favorite show.  Ever since the show came out, I'd watch a few episodes here and there, but I've finally sat down and really gotten into it ... I'm hooked.

It actually reminds me a little bit of Life.  The main character really draws you in and his sidekicks are pretty solid as well.  Two beautiful women anchor the shows (Dr. Cameron in House, Detective Reese in Life).  The episodes open up with a problem, there's some turbulence along the way then the hero saves the day (or doesn't).  If you like House, I really think you'll enjoy Life.

thats crap if they cancelled life. Im in season 2 and have been getting attached to it as a pretty good show. The actors are pretty solid.

Hopefully some station picks it up, seems the show was just getting started.

i think there is a petition going around for USA Network to pick up Life.  If you look at their line-up they have very eccentric main characters (as i mentioned burn notice, monk, physc, etc) and the hour long formats.  Also, Life has already two seasons under its belt and has built a solid fan base.  The cast is pretty strong too.

Did Terry O'Quinn (John Locke) die in a plane crash?!

That's what the Junkies said this morning.

I can't find anything from IMDB to news sites but it might be them joking (if he didn't) because a flight full of 228 people or something like that, was lost from brazil to paris.

Hopefully he didn't die. They need to close out the show!

I glanced by this and thought you were talking about THE John Locke. Never mind.

I wasn't able to find anything online about him dying in the crash.  If it was a joke, it was done in very bad taste.

I thought they said he was on that plane. I cannot believe this is not on the web anywhere. They said that the AP was reporting it. I didn't think they were joking either.

I see people on extremeskins have posted the same thing I did about O'Quinn being on the plane but they can't find it anywhere else either.

The Junkies must have misread something.

Ok, that's wrong.  It's a sad story all the around, Americans or otherwise.

I apologize. I thought that SF was talking about a show, not real life.
