seriously though casto ripped a shot down the line, nice play by jacobs.

Roger really could've come up in a bit spot there.  Shame he couldn't get his first RBI.

Bernadina's weakness is apparent.

he likes low pitches, but he can't hit them.

Beware of players that get mentioned so much for their great defense and speed. Hopefully, he can get something going with an extended stint, but I have my doubts.

he also pulls his head way out of the batter's box when he swings, he doesn't watch the ball in to his bat.

I bet if you asked him where those pitches were that he missed, he couldn't tell you.

I like Manning a lot (not just because of that SO, EDIT: make that 2 SO).  I think that he could end up being a good guy to pitch in the seventh (in the 7-8-9 order).

Manning is doing the damn thing, as we of the hip-hop generation would say.

Or even a specialist. Lefties were only hitting .130 against him coming into this game.

Good point, Manny loves the specialists, if we actually had a solid/decent lineup we could afford to carry another bullpen guy and use a specialist in situations.  Not that it matters this year.

He'll take this team to the Super Bowl.

Manny is using all the young pitchers with his veteran catcher, Lo Duca (who IS AVAILABLE FOR TRADE!)

Sutton attributes his counting down the number of outs left in a game to probably Claude Osteen, who was a Washington Senators pitcher 1961-64, before he became a Dodger.

I'm still a Charlie Manning fan, but this is the second time that has happened w/ him on the mound. :?
