Hopefully Leon.  While I don't believe in spending on third string catchers this guy is just terrible.  Tonight proved as much and don't give me the RBI late.

Walters made his debut last year and Kobernus is unavailable. There's no one else to make a debut other than those Spring Training scrubs.

While technicly true, I am certain that September callups dont count against rookie status. So no more rookies!

Does Chief have any leftover funds from the WNFF fund drive? We could help Mitlen and Old Chelsea get out of the stone age :)

Leave those guys alone. Next thing you will be doing is picking on me and Welsh.

can we merge this thread with the DL watch thread?  seems like a lot of overlap.

this is the broader thread.  I' m not sure we need both the DL watch and this med staff stinks, since the latter evolved into a comment on every dl move.

Old guy question:     Can I follow twitter on the internet?    ...    interested in Zuckerman and Kilgore specifically.     Thanks.

Not only can you follow Twitter on the internet, but Twitter follows WNFF on the same internet.

As long as the thread is called "This Medical Staff still stinks thead - 2014" because we must never forget.

As I mentioned, I thought it had to do with a hand held device like IPhone or some such thing.    Since I have an ancient cell that I don't usually turn on or use for the interweb, I thought I couldn't access it.    Thanks   ...

These links should be a good starting point, you don't need to log in with a user ID to read Twitter, but it helps because you'll want to save your searches.

www.twitter.com, create an account. You can make it private. In the little search box, search for #Nationals and #Nats (two separate searches). You'll quickly find names you recognize: Kolko, Zuckerman, the guys that write for the post, Thom Lovarro (he's an jerk on Twitter), the Nationals account itself, etc.  You can choose to "Follow" them so you don't have to look them up every time.

Twitter keeps these guys from bloviating. Most of the writers include links to longer stories. If you follow a Twitter link to a WP story, you can read the whole thing without paying for a Post on-line subscription.

Making a private Twitter account does seem to defeat the purpose.

Searching for multiple hash tags can be done by entering #Nats OR #Nationals with the OR in caps.

And I left out an important one:

Just realized that WNFF allows members to post their Email, Website, ICQ, AIM, YIM, and MSN IDs but not Twitter or Facebook, social media has changed quite a bit in the short time the Nats have been in town.

Do AIM or ICQ even work anymore.
