That's just what we needed, a 7 pitch inning.  :(

Been outside enjoying the weather, but I can't say I'm really surprised to see us down by a few already.

This is not a night for quiet bats.  This is not a pitcher where we should have quiet bats!

since the last post was made in the fourth inning, I'm assuming everbody has given up on this game. I have just seen all my visions of success this season and a decent record flash before my very eyes.

I don't understand we can beat pitchers like Pedro Martinez (the first time), Roy Oswalt and John Smoltz BUT we can't be AAA guys like this guy who I don't even know his name. It doesn't make any sense

We haven't given up (well maybe) we're still watching but there's really nothing to be said that warrants posting at this point.  Clayton made a nice play, but other than that it's mostly been back and forth quick innings.

Well that was a waste, but I guess I should be thankful we even got one run out of it all.

The bottom 5 of the order is so weak. It's killing us.

o so thats what happened..when I saw the commericial, I figured since there was 2 on and 1 out for Ryan Zimmerman..that he had gotten an RBI and that there was pitching change since this guy WAS JUST CALLED UP FROM TRIPLE A!!!! the Nats just LOVE to prove me wrong

That was a point in the game where we needed thinkers instead of hitters.

We have a Triple-A pitcher, having a very bad inning.  The best place for him to be, for the Nationals, is on the mound.  Making him throw strikes would be more effective than swinging at the first pitch.  Make him prove that, with his arm, he can get out of a bad inning.  That ball would get a whole lot heavier. for him, I'd bet.

why is it that I'm more excited at seeing Bronson Arroyo pitch Wednesday than I am of seeing the Nats play

Marlon Anderson's season batting average is .133 and he's a pinch hitter?

Don't look now but Schneider is down to .183 and he bats at least 4 times a game (not to mention his FOUR rbi's).

Is there a reason Rauch hasnt been in for a while? He's our best reliever right now, and can pitch a fair amount of innings, yet he doesnt seem to be used.
