God - they lose games in the worst way. It wasn't actually that bad of a pitch.

Worst series of the season.  Even worse than Houston.

I wish I could sell my mlb.tv subscription.  When the Nationals are losing, the rest of baseball has little interest to me.

I'll remember this next season and pay for the monthly subscription, rather than yearly.

Ok, here's where having Morse on the bench can help.

Lay off the curve - fastball and change.

As am I.  Another good pickup by Rizzo to fill out the 40 man while the youngins get more time to succeed at their craft in the minors before being brought into the mix.

No chance we score here.  This season is over.

Not when morgan swings like that.

This team has to be on pace for the record for unearned runs allowed.  :(

On second thought, they're not even leading the league in unearned runs.  Their 43 is one behind the Cubs' 44 UR.

I went out today to meet friends for dinner in Baltimore (Little Italy).  I went right by Camden Yards.  I taped the game.  When I got home, I watched the game.  For a few innings, I was quite content.  And then........we repeated last night's fiasco.  I couldn't erase the tape fast enough.

Does anybody really want to watch the game tomorrow?

Mentally, no. I am rushing to Fenwick Island tomorrow to catch the game though.

Yep, I was shocked to see so few pages. A Saturday game, afternoon game no less, blazing hot outside, and against the Orioles!!! on top of it all?!? Just goes to show yesterdays loss was an even bigger cluster you know what than most realized for this teams fan base, and despite our strong start this season and Strasburg, the hardcore are fed up at this point. Any hope the Nats had of keeping the curious casual fans from their good April/May and Strasburg is out the window if this continues for even the tiniest number of games. This past month is really, really, really hurting this team.

I was planning on going to today's game despite the heat, but said screw it after I went and sat through last night. Didn't even bother recording or watching the game. At 7pm I checked my iPad, went to MLBAtBat, saw the score and shook my head in disbelief and disgust. And was really glad I didn't drive all the way up to Baltimore, waste money on a ticket and five hours of my life between the drive and the game.

Okay, you toolbags do realize there was this little World Cup thing going on at the beginning of the Nats game and a ton of people were at viewing parties for that, right?

I didn't even catch the first 3 innings or so.  I tuned in just in time to see the Livan I expected to see this year instead of the one who has pitched great.  I looked at our least patient batter, with terrible stats againt RHP, in the lineup as DH and decided to enjoy the company of those I watched the WC match with and check in on the Nats later.

Why would there be more discussion when there wasn't much to talk about?  They did essentially the same thing two days in a row and need to fix it.  That's all.

Hi hi, as, I assume, one of the "toolbags." Yesterday there were 22 pages of discussion, today there were six. Five actually, and one page of people nagging about the lack of discussion. Today was a weekend game against the Orioles. I don't care about soccer, had no idea there was a game today, but if you honestly believe that a soccer game can account for this lack of discussion versus the fact that people have had it with the team and are tired of these types of games, well, I wish I had your optimism. btw, last years Friday game in Baltimore, exactly 52 weeks prior, had 9 pages of discussion. So I stick by saying that this thread is indicative people have had it with this godawful play, etc. I don't understand why you're so pissed off over something obvious, blatant, and directed at no one at all. Everyone's just saying this thread is showing the attitude of the fans quite dramatically.
