Those costumes must cost a bit.  I would definitely go for a race between William Henry Harrison, James Buchanan, Rutherford Hayes, and Warren Harding.

As for Clinton, I think having him race Jefferson, Cleveland, and Harding would be great.  Stage it at Good Guys.

He will win on Wednesday. I called it yesterday. And they will continue the tradition of him being the underdog.

If he wins on the same day the Nats lose the division, or if he wins this season and the Nats don't win the World Series, the curse if Teddy is officially born and will be talked about for the next 100 years.

Grover Cleveland could never win two in a row.

I want a Zachary Taylor and a James K Polk.

They should bring in Bill, have him lead every race, and then stop to chat up a young woman before the finish line...

I'm quite surprised that they haven't brought in a few rotating Presidents now and then.... if they do end the Teddy loses gag, a new President now and then would/could keep things fresh.

They've had JFK show up a few times.

The 4 costumes originally cost $50,000 in 2007. Since then they've had minor tune ups and patches for no more than $5,000 - $10,000 per season.

Obama would have to decide whether to stop for a smoke or a round of golf.

Instead of Strasburg?  Might be a brilliant move, then.

Exactly. Don't even begin to think the Nats are immune from the stupidity.
