That's one of the better lineups we've put out in a while

I wonder if Willingham's back has been cranky.

The trouble with day games in the middle of the week is that sometimes the boss changes his mind about how "free" your afternoon is....looks like I'm gonna miss the start....if not the whole game.

Go get'em Nats
thanks for taking a chance with your record patsnats

True... granted, Nieves is in it, but Pudge has been slumping. I have a good feeling about today as well.

I was considering going to the game, then stepped outside. The parking lot I normally park at already had a sign last night saying they would be not accepting Nats fans due to it being during business hours. But I was willing to deal with that, then I felt the air. God damn it is hot and humid for 11am. Combine that with the severe storms they're calling for, and I think I can wait until tomorrow. Non-Sunday 12-1pm starts in the middle of July and August = epic fail.

3 months isn't a slump.  4 years prior to that isn't a slump.  Pudge can't hit at all anymore.

Just checked radar, nasty line of storms in Md coming from NE towards us. Looks like, if we get them, they'll be here in an hour and a half to two hours, excluding any storms that make up closer. Definitely a good day to eat $60 in a season ticket.

I hate eating my tickets, I'd rather get a pretzel dog from Nathans

Go get Olsen!

I'm not a fan of it either, but when I first bought my 81 game plan three years ago, I accepted I'd bite it on summer day games. First base side = no a shade until 6pm. I just can't go the heat, humidity and the sun. So excluding an atypical cloudy cool Sunday, I go in realizing I'll miss 90% of the day games. So long as we have far more night than day games, I'm okay with it for the time being. It's nice to watch a home game on tv anyway once in a while.

Odd's you're a lying troll that now has ample time to post when just a few weeks ago when you were ASSCLOWN you said you were too busy to post? 100%

Lol, no way are there high odds Olsen get rocked before the game even starts. He did great early this year, we have a good line up. He might well, but high odds. Your pessimism reaches new levels daily. Have some faith in a young, non-AAAA SP. We don't exactly have many of those.

Well, there certainly can't be much whining about the lineup now.  Other than Morgan leading off it might be the best we've got (considering Nieves can't be hitting any worse than Rodriguez nowadays).

And at least Desmond isn't batting 8th.

I think he goes 6 innings, gives up a run or two, 5 Ks, 2 walks.
